M.M.S.K.V. English Medium School follows CBSE Syllabus and is affiliated to CBSE Board under Registration Number 931212. This English medium school started functioning on 4th June 2003 , under the guidance of SreekrishnaVilasam N.S.S. Karayogam, in memory of Bharat Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan, the founder of Nair Service Society. It was an apt decision taken by the then karayogam committee lead by Sri. Kunnil Ramakrishnan Nair as President and Sri. Nilackal Ramachandra kurup as Secretary . Initially there were only 3 staff members, and the school was started in a rented building. Former N.S.S. General Secretary Sri. P. K. Narayana panicker lit the holy lamp demarkating the begining. Mr. N.K.K. Nair, Lekshmi Bhavan, Puliyoor took over charge as the first Principal cum Manager, and Smt. Sandhya .R. Nair as the only teacher and Smt. Chandrika as Aya gave him full support. Then Sri. Krishnankutty (Rtd DEO) was appointed as Principal and continued till 31.12.2007. Mr. M.N.P. Nampoothiri, retired Principal of SDV High School, Alapuzha joined as the new Principal dtd 01.01.2008 and it was a turning point. Sri. R. Venugopal, Karippukizhakethil was appointed as the new Manager and he took over charge during the year 2008. Later the then President of NSS karayogam ,Mr. P.S. Mohanakumar as President, Sri. P. G. Gopalan Nair Secretary and the committee members, brought the institution under the control of a Charitable Society by name ‘Mannam Memorial Educational and Charitable Society’ which was registered on October 1st 2009. On 01.10.2010 Sri. P. M. Prabhakaran Nair became the President and Sri. N. K. Ramachandra kurup as the Secretary. Sri. K. B. Sankara kurup took over charge as Principal on 15.05.2012 and continued in that position till 31.03.2015. . Now a strong committee is functioning under the Presidentship of Mr. Saji Charavoor and the names of the committee members are as follows. We are grateful to the services of the former President Mr. P. M. Prabhakaran Nair, and Thomboor Radhakrishnan Nair, Chairman, School advisory committee, who gives immense support, both physically and financially. Our thanks to Sri. Ganesh Puliyoor, who struggles very hard utilising his influences to see this school, as one of the most sought after educational institutions of this area. Above all, the management is highly obliged to the Principal Smt. K. G. Santhakumari, (formerly of Chinmaya School and St. Gregorious) and a group of teachers who work hard day in and day out for the betterment of this school. Our non-teaching staff, including the drivers deserve equal appreciation.
